ChatGPT and Codex

Your notes live on your Mac or in your iCloud Drive, not on our server. When ChatGPT needs a note, the request goes to getwavenote.com. The Wavenote gateway on your Mac picks it up and answers. So the Mac has to be awake, with the gateway running. If it's asleep, the request expires after 5 minutes and nothing changes.

Our server deletes each request and its answer an hour after it arrives. The privacy policy has the rest.

Disconnecting

Remove Wavenote from your plugins in ChatGPT or Codex. To stop every connection at once, stop the gateway on your Mac. While it's stopped, no request reaches your library. Email us if you want the connection revoked on our side too.
