Voicy goes everywhere Wavenote does not: Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and a Chrome extension, on one account, across 50+ languages. It offers a 20% disability discount on every plan with no proof asked for, which is a better answer on access than Wavenote currently has. It also localised into Japanese early enough to own the one product slot in the Japanese search results, which Wavenote does not.

- Recognition happens on the Mac, with no account and no upload. Voicy promises not to store transcripts, which is a different promise from never sending them.
- Japanese runs on a dedicated engine rather than one multilingual model covering 50 languages.
